"(I'm Gonna) Love Me Over again" is a song from the 2019 biopic Rocketman. Written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, the song was performed by John and Taron Egerton, who portrayed John in the picture show. The song is heard in the stop credits of the picture show. The official music video features both archival clips from John's early on career every bit well as scenes from the film.[i] The song won numerous accolades including "All-time Original Song" at the 77th Gilded Earth Awards,[2] "Best Song" at the 25th Critics' Option Awards,[3] "All-time Original Song" at the 24th Satellite Awards,[4] and Best Original Song at the 92nd Academy Awards.[5]
The song premiered on BBC Radio ii on 16 May 2019.[6]

Music video [edit]
The music video was directed by Kii Arens.[7] It was uploaded to John'south official Vevo account on thirteen June 2019.[8] The video features John and Egerton, with footage of Egerton equally John in Rocketman, archival footage of the musician and clips of both John and Egerton recording the song in the studio. It also includes kaleidoscopic animation mixed with album artwork and concert posters from John's heyday.[9]
The making of the music video was released on 4 July 2019 on John'due south Vevo business relationship, with John and Taupin discussing the runway in a behind-the-scenes video.[10]
Alive performances [edit]
"(I'm Gonna) Beloved Me Again" was performed by John and Egerton on Paramount Pictures' Rocketman: Live in Concert at the Greek Theatre, in Los Angeles, with the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra on 17 October 2019.[11]
John performed "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again" at the 92nd Academy Awards on 9 Feb 2020 with a red Yamaha piano and total-band including backing singers in front end of a screen with animated graphics to stand for the moving picture.[12] [13] The vocal won the Academy Honour for Best Original Song.[14]
Remix [edit]
DJ Purple Disco Automobile was responsible for a remix version of music from John and Egerton.[xv] The music was launched on download and streaming platforms on xix December 2019.[16] Remix embrace illustration past Erin Goedtel.
